We feel this issue is vital to long-term happiness and quality of life. We are temporarily changing our practice of emailing you the text of our article and instead we have posted it on our website. We did this because we wanted to include some excellent visual aids that would be cumbersome to send and download. To read this month's article, Reason for Hope: Nutrients to Preserve Memory and Sharp Thinking, please follow this link: http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2007/2007Feb.html. Satisfaction Guaranteed Referral Policy In this office, are careful about where we refer patients, because if they are not happy with the specialist we send them to, that reflects poorly on us. We'd like to make it easy for you to refer your friends and family to us. To that end, if you refer a friend or family member to our office for a first-time visit, we'll give them a "satisfaction-guaranteed visit." That means if we do not meet or exceed their expectations we will refund their office fee. We make this offer only for people who are not yet patients here and only for those referred by current patients. For your information and for referral purposes, here is our general philosophy in four parts: 1. We try hard to give you a plan that makes you, as much as possible, independent of the healthcare system. For example, non-pharmaceutical remedies don't require physician visits for monitoring and refills. With pharmaceuticals, we make your prescriptions maximally refillable in order to reduce the frequency of office visits. 2. We work to find a fundamental cause for illness, so that people can get well if possible and get off the medical care merry-go-round. 3. We help you enhance the strengths and good health habits you already have. Lifestyle changes that reduce blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol involve no further medical costs. 4. We do not bill your insurance for you, but we can give you the requisite form including diagnosis, treatment, and fee, which you can send to your insurance for a reimbursement. Thank you for your interest in our newsletter and our patient-based medical practice. ========================================== === Recent issues of Medicine for People! === Janaury, 2007 Brain Health As We Age Part 10 - The Hippocampus, Seat of Memory http://rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2007/2007Jan.html December, 2006 The Shingles Vaccine: is it Right for You? http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Dec.html November, 2006 Brain Health As We Age Part 9 - Dementia - Know Thy Enemy http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Nov.html October, 2006 Brain Health As We Age Part 8 - Phosphatidylserine Preserves Brain Function thru Membrane Support; Not-For-Profit Nutritional Dispensary http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Oct.html Septermber 2006 Brain Health as We Age Part 7 - Homocysteine, Folic Acid and Vitamin B-12 http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Sep.html August, 2006 Health Care Finance Reform: Small Changes; Big Results http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Aug.html July, 2006 Brain Health as We Age Part 6 - Microinflammation and the Brain http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006Jul.html June, 2006 Brain Health As We Age Part 5 - Inflamation, Nutritional Dispensary Now Not For Profit http://www.rienstraclinic.com/newsletter/2006/2006June.html ========================================== === Reader Alert === We publish this newsletter monthly.
