Here's what's up:

Art Port Townsend begins this weekend, October 9th,  with the 6th 
Annual Juried Regional Art Show at Northwind Arts Center, along with 
related art events, lectures and workshops.

Sunday, October 10th, 3:00-5:00PM, a benefit wine-tasting cruise 
aboard the Glacier Spirit sponsored by the Port Townsend Marine 
Science Center. For more information call 385-5582.

Monday, October 11th, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Port Townsend 
Chamber weekly luncheon. The topic, "The Shrinking American Dream: 
The Effect of Growth Management on Housing Supply and Affordability." 
Guest speaker Terri Jeffreys, Government Affairs Director, Olympic 
Peninsula Region, Washington Association of Realtors, will discuss 
the impact the Growth Management Act has had on the ability to house 
our communities.

Thursday, October 14th, 11:30-1PM, Point Hudson Marina Room. Chamber 
General Board meeting.

Save this date! Friday, October 22nd, 7:30-10:30PM, Fort Worden 
Commons. The Big Dance. Come dance and celebrate to a Northwest 
favorite, the Freddy Pink Band. $50 per couple. Refreshments, and a 
no-host bar. Ticket stubs are redeemable for a twelve month 
Washington State Parks parking pass. All proceeds go to keep Fort 
Worden parking free of charge. For tickets call 344-4403
