Dear Chamber Members:
Here's what's happening:
Friday, Today! 2-6PM. Frontier Bank, 2nd floor. The Port Townsend
Chamber and Jefferson County Economic Development Council, in
cooperation with Frontier Bank, are hosting an open house. Drop in
for light refreshments and see our new business offices.
Saturday, November 6th, 7-Noon, Gael Stuart Building. SAT Testing.
Chamber and EDC members will be proctoring the SAT tests for Olympic
Peninsula college bound students. All proctor honorariums donated to
the Jefferson County EDC/Chambers Tech Trades Scholarship Fund.
Interested in proctoring? Please contact the EDC office, PH#385-6767.
Saturday, November 6th, 5:30-8PM, Downtown and Uptown. Gallery Walk.
Admission free, light refreshments.
Monday, November 8th, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Chamber weekly
luncheon presentation, "UGN-Jefferson County's Legacy of Caring." Jim
Grabicki, MarinerBank, and Larry Wilson, Jefferson County Domestic
Violence, will speak on behalf of United Good Neighbors. UGN is the
primary way County residents direct charitable donations to their
local neighbors in need. UGN volunteers are working to meet this
year's goal of $265,000.
The Chamber wishes to thank this month's meeting sponsor, the
Peninsula Daily News. Port Townsend's and Jefferson County's Daily
Newspaper.
Wednesday, November 10th, 8:30-Noon, WSU-Port Hadlock. Small Business
Innovation Research (SBIR) Workshop. Lunch included. RSVP
DBrader at WSU.edu, or PH# 379-5610.
Thursday, November 11th, Veteran's Day. No Chamber Board meeting. It
is rescheduled for November 18th.
