Here's what's up:

Friday, January 14th. Today is the deadline for nominations for Port 
Townsend's Citizen of the Year, and Business Leader of the Year. 
There is still time to go on line at ptchamber.org, or contact the 
Leader, PH# 385-2900,  to submit your nomination.

Saturday, January 15th, 2PM, Kingston. Ribbon cutting ceremony for 
Aqua Express passenger-only ferry to service to Seattle.

Sunday, January 16th. 13 visitors from Umaq, Porec, and Roving, 
Croatia will arrive in Port Townsend. Accompanied by two interpreters 
and a representative from the International City/County Managers 
Association, the group, part of a U.S. State Department city exchange 
program,  will tour our community throughout the week, departing on 
Friday.

Monday, January 17th. NO CHAMBER MEETING. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Wednesday, January 19th, 5:30-8PM, Pygmy Kayak. First Chamber mixer 
of the new year. Come see Pygmy Kayaks's new site at the old Point 
Hudson Pavilion.

Friday, January 21st, Noon, Elks Lodge. UGN volunteer recognition 
luncheon. RSVP PH# 385-3797.

Saturday, January 22nd, 7:30-12:30PM, Gael Stuart Building. SAT 
testing. Proctor honorariums donated to the Jefferson County 
EDC/Chambers Tech Trades Scholarship Fund.

Saturday, January 22nd, 10:30-2:30PM, Frontier Bank. Port Townsend 
Chamber Retreat. Lunch provided. Please RSVP to the Chamber business
