Here's what's up next:

TONIGHT. 7PM, Blue Heron Middle School. Washington State Ferry Tariff 
Policy Public Meeting. The Ferry Tariff Policy Committee is 
recommending fares be increased 5%, effective this May. The 
recommendation also includes reducing commuter book expiration from 
90 days to 30 days, and make the books nontransferable. Public 
attendance is encouraged.

Friday, February 25th, Noon-2PM, Frontier Bank conference room. 
Jefferson County Economic Development Council hosts a Business 
Incubator Development Informational meeting. For additional

Saturday, February 26th, 11:30AM, Port Townsend Bay. 14th Annual 
Shipwrights' Regatta.

Monday, February 28th, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Port Townsend 
Chamber weekly luncheon. Our February theme is "Gearing Up for 
Festivals and Tourism in Port Townsend." Our final presentation of 
the month is entitled "The Importance of Marketing to Tourism and 
Events." Hattie Dixon of Peninsula Ad Works, and Pat McCauley of 
Inside Out Solutions, the Port Townsend Marketing contractor, will 
discuss their goals and plans for marketing Port Townsend.

Also Debb Apple of Peninsula Daily News, and Port Townsend Chamber 
board member, is returning home to Kansas City. Come say goodbye and 
help recognize Debb for all her efforts on behalf of not only the 
Port Townsend Chamber, but all the chambers in the county.

Tuesday, March 1st, 2-4PM, Frontier Bank conference room. Jefferson 
County Public Infrastructure Fund (PIF) meeting. Dave Brader, 
WSU-Port Hadlock, will lead a presentation on the Jefferson County 
Public/Private fiber optic/telecommunication network project.

Thursday, March 3rd, 7-9PM, Blue Heron Middle School. Jefferson 
Transit public meeting to review the site selections for the new 
Transit facility.

Friday, March 4th, 11:30-1PM. Frontier Bank conference room. Port 
Townsend Chamber Executive Board meeting.

Saturday, March 5th, 11AM, Kuhn Building, 2nd Floor (above the Public 
House Restaurant). Public opening of the Jefferson County Museum, at 
its new site while City Hall is renovated.
