Greetings, Chamber members.

Here's what's happening in our community over the next 7 days.  Also,

RHODY WEEK IS HERE!!!  The 71st annual Rhododendron Festival begins 
tomorrow and runs through Sunday, May 21.  The theme this year is "Time 
to Play."  So take a little time out of your busy schedule to enjoy the 
parades, races, feasts, and carnival.  It's just not Rhody Fest without 
playing Whack-a-Mole.


FRIDAY, MAY 12
	9:30pm		Water Street Brewing 2nd Anniversary celebration.  Music by 
the Harmonicasters


SATURDAY, MAY 13
	all day		USPS Letter Carriers Food Drive, leave non-perishables next 
to your mail box for distribution to local food banks
	9:30am-1:30pm  Port Townsend Farmer's Market, uptown on Tyler between 
Clay and Lawrnece
	10am-5pm	Rhody Arts & Crafts Fair, Memorial Field
	10am-1pm	Puget Sound Military Vehicles Collectors Club on display at 
Fort Worden, from 2pm-5pm at Fort Flagler
	11am-6pm	Port Townsend Skatepark Dedication Celebration
	2pm			Guided tours deep inside the original PT city hall, by 
appointment at 385-1003; JC Historical Society


SUNDAY, MAY 14
	all day		HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
	10am-5pm	Rhody Arts & Crafts Fair, Memorial Field
	9:30am-3pm	Puget Sound Military Vehicles Collectors Club on display at 
Fort Flagler

MONDAY, MAY 15
	noon-1pm	Chamber luncheon meeting at The Commons, Fort Worden State 
Park
				SPEAKER:  THATCHER BAILEY, Executive Director of Centrum, will 
discuss new developments and new directions 				at the non-profit 
center for creativity at Fort Worden.
