Chamber Executive Board Meeting.

Chamber Board Meeting.
Friday, September 15, 10AM, Shelton Civic Center. Peninsula Regional
Transportation Planning Organization (PRTPO) meeting. Agenda will
include a review of the proposed Hood Canal Bridge closure mitigation
plan scheduled for May-June, 2009. An alternative plan will be
presented to advocate for the $10 million budgeted to be used for
permanent infrastructure improvements rather than the currently
proposed six-week detour.
Friday, September 15-Sunday, September 17. Fort Worden State Park
beach. The 23rd Annual West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium.
Friday, September 15-Sunday, September 17, Downtown and Uptown Port
Townsend. The 7th Annual Port Townsend Film Festival.
Saturday, September 16-Sunday, September 17, Downtown, Uptown, and
Castle Hill. The 39th Annual Historic Homes Tour.
Saturday, September 16, 2-8PM, Lower Port Hadlock. The 25th Anniversary
celebration of the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding.
Monday, September 18, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. The Port Townsend
Chamber weekly luncheon. Our guest speakers are the Jefferson County
Prosecuting Attorney candidates incumbent Juelie Dalzell and challenger
Peggy Ann Bierbaum. The primary election will determine the winner of
this office. All Chamber members as well the general public are invited
to attend to hear the candidates before the voting deadline of
September 19th.
