The week ahead:

Friday-Saturday, January 19, 7PM. Port Townsend High School. Port  
Townsend High School drama students present "The Tree."

Friday, January 19, 7:30PM. Chimacum High School. The Chimacum Band  
Boosters present ""Winterfolk, Music from the Past to Benefit the  
Future."

Saturday, January 20, 10:30AM-2:30PM. Cape George Fire Hall. The Port  
Townsend Chamber of Commerce officers and board retreat.

Saturday, January 20, 7:30PM. Port Townsend Elks Lodge. "Galatea's  
Winter Waltz." A benefit dance for the Haller Fountain/Steve Corra  
Memorial Project.

Monday, January 22, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. The Port Townsend  
Chamber of Commerce weekly luncheon. Our guest speakers are  Tim  
Stover and Steve Bailey of the Port Townsend Victorian Festival. They  
will present an overview of this popular and growing festival, and  
tell us what's in store this year.

Congratulations to Port Townsend's Citizen of the Year nominees Julie  
Knott, John J. Burke, Forest Shomer, Helen Kullman, Katie Shaffer,  
Lloyd Cahoon, David Hero, and Todd Gilmore, and to the Business  
Leader of the Year nominees Lloyd Cahoon, Ford Kessler, Ryan  
Anderson, Mimi Rosenberg, Laurette McRae, Rocky Friedman, Reto and  
Jana Filli, and Laura Piper.

We look forward to thanking and honoring the nominees and the  
community at the Port Townsend Citizen of the Year /Business Leader  
of the Year Brunch Sunday, January 28, 11AM-12:30PM, at Fort Worden  
Commons.
