Saturday, May 5, 7:30AM-1PM, Port Townsend High School. SAT
proctoring. Honoraria donated to the Jefferson County Technical
Trades Scholarship Fund. Our thanks to David Brader, Angela Herr, Ron
Ramage, Marilyn Staples, and Phil Noelke for offering to volunteer.
Saturday, May 5, 9:30AM, Uptown. Port Townsend Farmers' Market.
Saturday, May 5, 5:30-8PM, Downtown, Uptown, and the Inn at Port
Hadlock. Port Townsend's Gallery Walk.
Saturday, May 5, 4-8PM, Port Townsend Elks Lodge. The 8th Annual Wine
Tasting for Scholarships Benefit.
Sunday, May 6, 3PM, Chimacum High School Auditorium. The Community
Chorus of Port Townsend and East Jefferson County.
Monday, May 7, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Port Townsend Chamber
weekly luncheon. Our guest speaker is Sam Gibboney, consultant to the
Washington State Department of Ecology. Water is a scarce resource in
east Jefferson County whose management affects all of us living here,
as well as our ability to do business. As a consultant to the state
Department of Ecology, Sam’s presentation will outline the public
process ongoing now to set water management rules for our watershed,
the Quilcene-Snow basin (public meetings are scheduled for May 15 &
16). A locally produced video identifying critical water management
issues will be screened, followed by a Q&A session.

Wednesday, May 9, 9AM-3:30PM, Jamestown Tribe Community Center
(Blyn). The Olympic Peninsula Regional Tourism Summit. Keynote
speaker is Marsha Massey, interim Director for Washington State's
Tourism Division. Tourism related businesses are invited to attend
and share information about their business, exchange brochures, and
receive updates on the travel industry. For reservations, please

Thursday, May 10, 11:30AM-1PM, Seaport Landing. Port Townsend Chamber
Board meeting. Executive board meeting begins at 11AM.

Thursday, June 14, Fort Worden Commons. The Port Townsend Chamber, in
cooperation with the Leader, and Fort Worden State Park, is
sponsoring the second in its four-part business education series for
local business owners and non-profit organizations. Our guest speaker
will be Maria Marsala, nationally known speaker, author, and business
and marketing strategist. Watch for further details!
