Happy Friday, everyone!

First, many thanks to American Marine Bank and Chiropractor Chris  
Davis for a fabulous mixer on Tuesday evening.  This extremely well- 
attended luau featured great beverages. appetizers, and wonderful,  
free chair massages by Jenny Culver Maxwell of Eucalyptus Massage.   
And did I mention that the sun shone the entire time?

Here's the week ahead


FRIDAY, JULY 20

Port Townsend Writers' Conference  readings and lectures throughout  
the day at Fort Worden $7 per event/$50 for 10-event pass

Root Beer Floats the Relay!  11:30 and 3 p.m. Kitsap Bank Port  
Townsend branches offers Root Beer Floats for $2.00 or donations to  
support Relay For Life. Come on down for treats and help Float the  
Relay!

Raffles or “Games of Chance” support the Relay For Life --
MANY PRIZES! $10 tickets for 25 yard of gravel from Penny Creek  
Quarry; $1 per ticket for about two dozen other great prizes,  
including 18 holes of golf with cart at Discovery Bay Course and gift  
certificates for many local businesses. Get your tickets at Kitsap  
Bank branches: the new PT branch is located at 215 Taylor Street (3  
doors down from the Rose Theater); the other PT branch is 2313 East  
Sims Way (old KFC building) across the parking lot from Hollywood  
Video. Tickets are also available at Kitsap Bank's Port Hadlock  
branch at 69 Oak Bay Road in the Kivley Center.  Drawing will be held  
in early August (final date not yet set).


SATURDAY, JULY 21

Port Townsend Writers' Conference  readings and lectures throughout  
the day at Fort Worden $7 per event/$50 for 10-event pass

The annual Airport Fly-in at Jefferson County airport takes place.   
More than 100 different aircraft, from home-builts to historic, will  
be on display.  FREE.


Car Show and BBQ rocks the Relay!  from noon to 3pm at the Kitsap  
Bank Port Hadlock branch (69 Oak Bay Rd in Kivley Center). All years  
and classes welcome (including motorcycles, ATV’s, sport bikes). The  
bank will be serving hot dogs, pop, water & chips and more of those  
great Root Beer Floats. Entry bags will be available for all  
registered cars and bikes and there are several giveaways from  
Edlebrook, Napa Auto Parts & Jegs Performance parts along with GREAT  
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for People’s Choice.
Come and vote, donate, enjoy the day! KITSAP BANK HOPES TO SEE YOU  
THERE!!

MONDAY, JULY 23

Chamber meeting 12pm-1pm at The Commons at Fort Worden.

FRED OBEE of the Port Townsend/Jeff Co Leader will be talking about  
how to increase business through the print media.
Lunch line at The Servery opens at 11:30a.m.

THURSDAY,  JULY 26

Concerts on the Dock -- Yur Mum performs 6pm-8pm at Quincy Street  
Dock, rain or shine (in case of rain the music will be moved into  
Water Street Brewing)  FREE
