Here's the week ahead:
PASSENGER-ONLY FERRY NOTICE:
The Seattle-Port Townsend passenger-only ferry service, and the Port
Townsend-Keystone passenger-only ferry service will operate on
regular sailing schedules both Christmas and New Year's Day.
The Seattle-Port Townsend passenger-only ferry service will operate
through Sunday, January 6, 2008. Beginning Monday, January 7, 2008,
the Washington State passenger-only ferry Snohomish will return to
its regularly scheduled sailings between Port Townsend and Keystone.
Friday, December 21, Noon-4PM, Swains. Come see Santa!
Friday, December 21, 1-3PM, Port Townsend Library. Port Townsend
Library Gingerbread House Workshop (for kids 6 to 12).
Monday, December 24, Christmas Eve! NO CHAMBER MEETING.

Tuesday, December 25. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Tuesday, December 25, Noon-3PM, Tri-Area Community Center. Free
Christmas Day Dinner.
Wednesday-Sunday, December 26-30, 11AM-4PM, Fort Worden. The
Commanding Officer's Quarters Museum, decorated for a Victorian
Christmas is open for viewing.
Monday, December 31, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Port Townsend
Chamber weekly luncheon. Our guest speakers will be Kim Hammers,
Karen Riel, and Alison Capener, members of the Community Outreach
Association Shelter Team (COAST). this non-profit is the facilitator
for the homeless shelter house at the American Legion Hall. Join us
for the last Chamber meeting of 2007, and learn first hand about this
caring and giving community service.

Tuesday, January 1, 2008. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sunday, January 27, 11:30AM-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. The Port
Townsend Citizen of the Year, and Business Leader of the Year Brunch.
The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect back on the events
and activities of this last year and acknowledge the community
members who participated in making our town so livable. All members
are invited to visit the Chamber's web site www.ptchamber.org, or
pick up a nomination form at the Leader or VIC and submit their
nominees for recognition at the brunch.
