Saturday, May 10, 12:45PM, on the waterfront. The Port Townsend Yacht
Club and Northwest Maritime Center present Boating Season Opening Day.
Saturday, May 10. The 16th annual National Association of Letter
Carriers nationwide food drive.
Saturday, May 10, 10AM-6PM, Union Wharf. Cruise West vessel "Spirit
of Endeavor" port visit.
Saturday, May 10-Sunday, May 11, 10AM-5PM, Downtown. Port Townsend
Arts Guild presents the 30th annual Rhody Arts & Crafts Fair.
Sunday, May 11, 8AM-4PM, Fort Worden Commons. Mothers' Day Brunch and
106th anniversary of the fort Open House.
Monday, May 12th, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. Continuing our
presentation theme for the month of May, "the business of education,"
we are pleased to have as our guest speaker Dr. Tom Keegan, president
of Peninsula College. Tom will present an update on the college and
Port Townsend class programming with an emphasis on business education.

Tuesday, May 13, 9AM-Noon, WSU-Port Hadlock, Jefferson County
Community Foundation (JCCF) presents the 2nd annual Grantmaker's Forum.
Wednesday, May 14, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. The Port Townsend
Chamber will host WSF staff who will present a 1-hour information and
training session on the Port Townsend-Keystone auto ferry reservation
system. All businesses are encouraged to attend to learn how this
free service will operate, and how the service will be promoted to
the public. This session is free and open to the public.
Thursday, May 15, 4-7:30PM, Fort Worden Commons at Local Goods (the
new name of the coffee shop). Port Townsend Chamber mixer. The staff
at Fort Worden invite Chamber members and guests to join us for light
refreshments and help continue the celebration of Rhody week! Come
meet and greet the many staff and volunteers of the business partners
who make Fort Worden one of our community's main attractions: Bon
Appetit, Centrum, Marine Science Center, Coast Artillery Museum,
Goddard College, School of Woodworking, Peninsula College, Madrona
Mind Body Institute, Friends of Fort Worden, Commanding Officer's
Quarters, and Copper Canyon Press.
The entire month of May, Downtown and Uptown check out Art Wave 2008.
Port Townsend Main Street presents 500 pieces of Art created by Port
Townsend School District students (K-12).
