Here's the week ahead:
Friday-Sunday, May 30-June 1, Fort Worden's Artillery Hill. Puget
Sound Military Vehicle Collectors Club. Guided tours available.

Monday, June 2, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. The Port Townsend
Chamber weekly luncheon. Our presentation theme this month is
"business and marketing." Our first meeting in June will feature
Marcus Yearout and Karen Lipyanik-Geagan, of Bellingham-based Visitor
Guide Publications. This firm, in partnership with Washington State
Tourism, will present information on special programs the state is
providing via their website, www.experiencewa.com.
The weekly luncheon will also include a brief presentation on an
exciting Boiler Room funding opportunity. Attendees are encouraged to
arrive early for lunch so the meeting can start promptly at Noon. The
Bon Appetit servery opens at 11:30AM.

the Year Dinner, with keynote speaker former WSU football coach Jim

Friday, June 6, 7PM, Fort Worden's Joe Wheeler Theater. Scottish
Gaelic Living Traditions Concert.
Friday, June 6. Deadline for the Hood Canal Bridge closure mitigation
survey. The final opportunity for residents to be heard on which
option is preferred for the May-June, 2009 closure: Passenger-only
service between Port Ludlow-Kingston, or passenger-only ferry service
between South Point-Lofall. The Port Townsend Chamber is on record of
supporting the Port Ludlow-Kingston option. Members are encouraged to
take the survey on-line at www.hoodcanalbridge.org. If there are any
