Friday, June 20. Today is the deadline for businesses interested in  
participating in the Port Townsend Wedding Show October 11 & 12. For

Thursday-Sunday, June 19-22, Point Hudson. Nordic Tug Rendezvous. 200  
visitors aboard 75 Nordic Tugs have sailed in to Port Townsend for a  
visit. Welcome!

Saturday, June 21, 10AM-4PM, All around town. WSU-Extension Jefferson  
County Master Gardeners Secret Garden Tour. Remaining tickets  
available the day of the tour at the Jefferson Transit Haines Place  
Park & Ride.

Saturday, June 21, 9AM-5PM, Jefferson County Gateway Visitor Center.  
The Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS), operators of the  
Gateway VIC, invite all to attend an Open House at the VIC to come  
and see the newly installed County historic exhibits. Located at the  
intersection of HWY 104 and HWY 19, the Gateway VIC is situated just  
six miles from the Hood Canal Bridge, and serves as the welcome  
center on the most heavily traveled entrance to the Olympic  
Peninsula. Join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 9AM and help us  
show our support in recognizing the time and effort the JCHS staff  
and volunteers contribute to a critical component of our Peninsula's  
highway infrastructure.

Monday, June 23, Noon-1PM, Fort Worden Commons. 23rd District  
Representative Kevin Van de Wege (D), will be the Chamber's guest  
speaker. Representative Van de Wege will give us an update on the  
last legislative session and provide an overview of the coming year.  
All Chamber members and the public are invited to attend.

Friday-Saturday, June 27-28, 7:30PM, Joe Wheeler Theater. Centrum  
presents the Port Townsend Chamber Music Festival.

ATTENTION:

In the wake of WSDOT's Hood Canal Bridge closure mitigation decision,  
this may be of interest:

Bremerton National Airport Air Service Study

The Port of Bremerton, in cooperation with the Kitsap Economic  
Development Alliance, the Mason County Economic Development Council,  
the Peninsula Visitor & Convention Bureau, and The West Sound  
Chambers of Commerce are conducting an Air Service Study. We need  
your assistance in helping us determine whether local commercial air  
service would serve your business travel needs. Information gathered  
as part of this survey will be used to determine whether the region's  
business community would support local air service at Bremerton  
National Airport and which airlines to target.

Please take a few minutes to complete the e-mail survey linked below.  
The results will be tallied on Friday July 11, 2008.
