Port Townsend Athletic Club celebrates its 25th Anniversary and Grand
Re-Opening
Port Townsend, Washington - September 1, 2008 - Port Townsend Athletic Club,
Port Townsend's only downtown health club, is celebrating its 25th
Anniversary / Grand Re-Opening with an open house on Saturday September
27th. The beautifully renovated club will be showcasing its new Precor TM
cardio and weight machines, along with a wide array of exercise
classes/programs. Everyone is invited to take a tour of the newly remodeled
club and enjoy light refreshments/healthy snacks. They can also register to
win a grand prize of a mountain bike, provided by PT Cyclery. As part of the
celebration, the club will be running membership specials from September 1st
- September 30th 2008., with the grand prize drawing held on September 27th,
2008.
The Club's new owners, Teresa and Tim Hoffmann, have made a major investment
in giving the club a facelift, and have created a unique club and exercise
environment, practically on Port Townsend's historic waterfront. Since
Teresa and Tim's purchase of the club in late 2007, membership has
dramatically increased, with Port Townsend area residents responding very
positively to the new design. According to Teresa, "Our goal at Port
Townsend Athletic Club is to create a premiere downtown athletic club. We
strive to keep everything in the club local, and environmentally friendly -
creating a place of comfort and community friendship".
About the club - Port Townsend Athletic Club is a full service athletic
club, with cardio and weight equipment, group fitness classes, racquetball
court, sauna, Jacuzzi, tanning, Russian Kettlebells, martial arts, and more,
located in historic downtown Port Townsend, WA.
Port Townsend Athletic Club is located at 229 Monroe Street, Port Townsend,
