Greetings from Quimper Sound. Well, my computer died on me this week - so I have to renege on my promise of a new 'Sound Advice' column and the year-end lists this week. But I will be back next week (Dell willing) with the promised goodies. There's really only one new release of note this coming week and that's the much anticipated new Strokes album 'First Impressions Of Earth'. Other than that the only thing to report is that we're restocking furiously and (special) ordering madly to get all you gift certificate holders what you *really* wanted for christmas. Of course, that goes for all of you who got socks instead of CDs as well! 
It's been quite a year, filled with a lot of change - including a massive new website and a glorious new little girl - but we're all still standing and looking forward to 2006. This year, more than ever, we have to thank you for continuing to support your local independent record store. The bad news is more than 350 independent record stores went out of business this year. The good news is that your support keeps our store alive and thriving. Port Townsend - and you especially - deserve great service from us. Let me know if you ever feel like you're not getting it. We're grateful for your business and want to continue to earn it.
