Greetings from Quimper Sound! What a beautiful week! Currently we have the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs 'Show Your Bones' and Rascal Flatts 'Me & My Gang' on sale. Next week it'll be the Rascal Flatts again as well the new Gotan Project, 'Lunatico' on sale. There are new 'Website Only' specials as well - check 'em out. And now for our special announcement:
Quimper Sound is proud to present Wayne Horvitz and his band Sweeter Than The Day live at the Upstage on Saturday April 22nd! Mr Horvitz is world renowned as a composer, pianist and bandleader and his recordings with his latest ensemble have garnered rave reviews both here and abroad:
"Horvitz' understanding of country, blues, folk and even singer-songwriter-type music is made quite plain on this CD. None of these elements are represented in an obvious way, and that's perhaps the main reason why this disc appeals so strongly.
