Greetings from Quimper Sound & the Analog Lounge. hope you all enjoyed our
"Springtime" weather this last week as much as I did. It's a very light new
release week - and it will remain sparse through the holidays - as the
industry focuses on 'Greatest Hits' collections and 'classic' reissues as it
does every December. However, it's been a great year for new music. Check
out our staff <http://www.quimpersound.com/reviews/revhome.html> picks
online and in the store to get a taste of our favorites. Remember, we're
always happy to let you listen to anything first - just ask.
We have (as of this writing) *10* copies of the much sought-after hardbound
cover version of Tom Waits 'Orphans' 3-CD set. This was originally planned
as a 50,000 copy limited edition release. However, after enormous press
coverage and critical praise (see our own stunt-reviewer Chris Gunn's take
on it here), the set sold out in about 10 days. The label immediately
decided to "re-issue" it in a digipak (paper sleeve) version at a lower
price - but without the book-like look and feel of the original hardbound
version. Of course, the music is the same and that's fundamentally what's
most important - but if you are a Waits fan (or have one on your list) I
recommend coming down ASAP to snag one of these soon-to-be collectors items.

Cafe Feminino which is grown, processed and traded by women. If you don't
have a grinder at home, ask one of our baristas, we'd be happy to grind it

If you want to introduce someone to our lovely coffee bar offerings, or you
just want to give them the gift of reducing their weekly coffee bill, then
pick up one of our coffee punch cards. They are good for any five espresso
drinks and cost only twelve dollars. If you drank 5 sixteen ounce lattes,
you would save $5.50 in total! It's really a great deal, and also a nice

2. Eels "with strings-live at town hall" excellent song-writing, intimate
setting. appropriate for early mornings, late nights, alone or with the "in"
crowd.
3. Rachel's "systems/layers" is it classical? is it jazz? is it post-rawk?
is it good. . .yes.
4. Alexander "Skip" Spence "oar" the most original thing to come out in
1969. . .still one of the most original things available today. Covered by
