Greetings from Quimper Sound! First of all, let me apologize for missing the new Ray Davies CD 'Other People's Lives' as a new release last week. This title has been much anticipated and has had its release date pushed back at least four times before - so if you're one of his many exasperated fans your wait is over. The big new release next week is the Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk The Line'! Enormously popular at the Rose (and all over the country) last year and inspiring a huge resurgence of interest in The Man In Black, this DVD-only release will come in a standard and deluxe 2-disc edition which includes a featurette on Johnny Cash and several music videos. Finally, we got a few *really nice* Blue Note Japanese reissues on vinyl. These are 180 gram virgin vinyl versions of classic jazz albums with all the original artwork and packaging in tact. These titles list for between $55.95 and $89.85 - but - I got a great deal on them and am selling them at $24.95. Get them while they last.
