Quimper Sound & the Analog Lounge
Washington's Oldest Independent Record Store

Newsletter Vol.3 No.35 11/19/06

________________________________

Greetings from Quimper Sound & the Analog Lounge. Lots of great new
releases this week as the industry gears up for Black Friday. A special
mention goes to 'An Inconvenient Truth' being released on DVD this week.
There's a mysterious shortage of copies available (conspiracy?) but
we'll be doing our best to keep it stocked. We *will* be getting enough
to cover our existing special orders right away with more coming in on
Wednesday... hopefully.

We'll be putting up our annual 'Employee Top 10' lists as well as our
gift guides on the website this week and next. Starting this week we'll
be moving to our Winter Hours: 9-8pm Sunday through Thursday, 9-9pm
Friday & Saturday. Speaking of hours, a reminder that we'll be open at
*7AM* Friday after Thanksgiving (the 24th) - come in and get some great
coffee to fuel up for the day and, you know, finish your holiday
shopping in one fell swoop...

Oh! A modest contest. First one to email me (steve at quimpersound.com) the
names of deceased artists who have "new releases" listed this week gets
a free Quimper Sound Travel Mug! (*Note: this is not a trick question -
the Beatles don't count...)

As always, feedback is much appreciated - keep it coming to:
feedback at quimpersound.com - thanks! And now, on with the show . . .
