Greetings from Quimper Sound & the Analog Lounge.

It's springtime! Well, at least today it is... Anyway, it's supposed to be
nice weather this weekend so come on down and enjoy the town before we get
buried with tourists. Oh, and the improvements to Taylor Street are done -
so we've got all our parking back! 

It's rare that I bother shilling for a live show here in P.T. - mostly
because there are so many good ones it would be unfair to pick one over
another. However, something special is happening next Thursday, April 5th.
Mateo Denali and Miles Okazaki (both Port Townsend bred - class of '93
grads) will be playing out at the Wheeler Theatre in Fort Worden - 7:30pm.
For more information, I've put the press <>  release at the bottom of this
message. Tickets available at, of course, Quimper Sound.

Finally, whether or not you're not in the mood for new tunes, you should
stop by for a cup of the tastiest (and cheapest!) drip coffee in town - and
the espresso's not bad either... Give us a try, we're quite proud of our
coffee.

Sodas and Candace's Cookies and Biscotti - featuring gourmet fair trade,
shade grown organic coffee & espresso from Grounds For Change. In fact, all
the espresso/coffee/tea and dairy (w/the exception of the whipped cream) is
organic.

3. Vinyl Vault - So many new titles on vinyl that we had to by a new rack!

4. Listening station - we now have two turntables and two CD player set up
in the Vault for your listening pleasure.

Mateo Denali and Miles Okazaki Concert. April 5, Thursday at the Fort Worden
Wheeler Theatre, 7:30 pm

Mateo and Miles grew up in Port Townsend and have been best buds all their
lives. They graduated in 1993 and had each established himself as a
promising musician.

Mateo moved to Los Angeles via Boston and Maine. He is a singer songwriter
who easily moves between reggae rock and soul. Mateo's song "What I Give "
was chosen to be released on the new soundtrack to Dane Cook's HBO comedy
series, "Tourgasm".

Mateo's music is delicious: This is the way music should be- excellent,
tasteful, full of depth and quality.

Miles moved to NY and mastered his own jazz guitar sound. He has toured the
world with Jane Monheit. His first CD was released in February 2007.

The concert will include all original Songs and music by Mateo. Miles will
provide outstanding accompaniment Will Kennedy (formerly of the Yellow
Jackets) will be on drums. Sean Mugrage will be on bass.

Mateo and Miles are real musicians. They have studied and honed their craft.
It will be a night of music magic. Make it a family night out!
